Dr. Andersson has been practicing holistic health care for 18 years. She is married, has raised 4 children and now has 3 granddaughters, 3 dogs and a cat. Along with her family, her practice is her passion and primary commitment. Besides office visits, she has multiple avenues of communication available for her patients, including phone, email, text messages and Skype. She prides herself on being available for her patients, so that they feel supported through their healing process.
She teaches monthly classes, and has ongoing support groups for patients to help them with diet and life style changes. These groups meet nearly every week to share experiences, recipes, challenges and successes.
She specializes in autoimmune disorders, such as: Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Psoriasis, Hashimoto’s, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Crohn’s disease, as well as hormonal imbalances, overall GI complaints, methylation, genetic (23andme) analysis, pre and post-natal nutrition, and overall natural primary care. She has a patient centered office that has an onsite phlebotomist and lab to make testing easier and more convenient for her patients. The clinic also offers massage therapy, colon hydrotherapy and chiropractic services.
Dr. Andersson’s primary focus is on the patient. She does testing and exhaustive research when necessary, to discover the root cause of the disorder, so that the patient can be treated properly. And she spends a lot of time with her patients to develop relationships that are most conducive to healing, positive life changes and optimum wellness.
Guiding Your Health Through Education
Education is a part of each of these tests: if people understand what is going on with their health, they are more likely to go through with what needs to be done to change their own health. Giving someone a pill and telling them to come back in 6 months is not empower and educating them. If people don’t know what’s going on with their own bodies, how can they make intelligent, rational decisions based on their own health?
Dr. Andersson’s Promises:
- I’m looking for people who are ready to make lifestyle modifications, make choices that are going to impact their long-term overall life and health.
- I spend more than 8 minutes with my patients. My average visit length is 30 minutes with each patient.
- I value chiropractic and think it’s incredibly important- as an adjunct supplement to total overall health.
